Postnatal Yoga Course – Reconnect, Recover, and Bond with Your Baby
The weeks after birth bring immense change – in your body, your emotions, and your daily rhythm.
The postnatal classes - Mum & Baby(Toddler Yoga offers a safe, supportive space to rebuild your strength, nurture your body’s recovery, and deepen the bond with your little one.
About the Classes
The classes are designed specifically for the postnatal body, with a focus on core and pelvic floor recovery, healing diastasis recti (abdominal separation), and restoring balance and ease throughout the body. Each class gently combines education, mindful movement, and connection — with space for both you and your baby or toddler to be part of the experience.
Structure of Each Session
🌿 10-minute theory & discussion - Each class begins with a short educational talk about postnatal recovery topics, include posture, core activation, diastasis recti, pelvic floor streangth, breathing, hormonal balance, and emotional well-being.
🌸 40-minute yoga practice - A series of safe, functional movements to: rebuild strength and stability, reactivate deep core and pelvic floor muscles, release tension in the shoulders and back, and relax through mindful breathing. Some parts include gentle, playful movements with your little one, while other moments allow you to focus fully on your own body, with your baby or toddler resting or exploring nearby.
💫 10-minute active meditation - A soothing closing practice that helps you ground, reconnect inwardly, and carry a sense of calm and confidence into your day.
💕 Home Practice - Between classes, you’ll receive short, simple home practice exercises to support your progress and help you integrate yoga and awareness into your everyday life with your child.
🕊️ When Can You Join? - You can usually start from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or from 3 months after a caesarean, once your doctor or midwife confirms you’re ready. Babies and toddlers are warmly welcome — the class environment is relaxed, flexible, and baby-led, allowing you to tend to your child whenever needed.
Why small group classes?
Within my small and intimate prenatal yoga classes, we create a safe space to openly discuss subjects that may otherwise be deemed as taboos or secrets. My intention is to provide you with personalized attention, which is why I limit the number of participants to a maximum of five, enabling me to tailor the flow of the class according to your individual needs. Throughout our time together, I will guide you in various breathing techniques and offer invaluable tips that will not only facilitate an easier birthing process but also alleviate any discomfort you may encounter along the way.
Location:
It is easy to come by public transportation to yorflo studio close to Jászai Mari tér. Tram 4-6 stop is just a few steps away. If you come by car please make sure you come a bit early as parking can be challenging depending on the time of the day.

About the class
60 minutes class in small groups, 3-5 ladies only, babies are welcome. We start at 10:30 on Fridays. Please be on time. Kindly read the important notes about postnatal yoga safety before joining the class.
